I am lovin' on my new find on Twitter...Foodimentary.
They describe themselves as:
"Twitter's 1st Food~Fact~Tweeter Guaranteed to pepper your day with food, wine & green facts! Impress others with your food knowledge!"

Essentially they keep my up on random food facts and Web sites. For example, this weekend according to Foodimentary is National Margarita Weekend! :-D
Another reason why I love Twitter...with all the National celebrations out there [just take a look at that blog and you will see there are a TON!] it is hard to keep updated, or even to keep checking. These holidays just show up on my Twitter homepage...awesome.

The Shorty Awards honor the best content producers on Twitter. The awards ceremony took place in January in New York City with CNN anchor Rick Sanchez.
Why is this relevant to your post? Because Foodimentary was nominated, and won, a Shorty Award. Foodimentary won the best producer of short* content in 2008 in the food category. (*140 characters or less, on Twitter) After I read your post I started following Foodimentary on Twitter. I laughed at many of the updates because they're fun and informative and I can totally see why it won in the food category. Foodimentary even beat out Vegansaurus, a vegan eating/living guide to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Thats so cool. I think they should have more things like this on twitter. I'm actually keeping a mental tally of all things that I want to change on twitter. Then I am going to email whoever I need to email and get those changes made!
